The character, Ross, is overplayed to the point of being absurd, nit to mention a complete di2%. The capital ship would have wiped its @$$ with them. I’d have liked to have seen that part.

The fact that fans can make films as entertaining as these tells you what you already knew. The Star Wars I.P, like so many others, was just hijacked to promote feminism, false diversity, hatred of white males and the promotion of activist agenda's. It's a tragedy what Disney did to what was once a beloved franchise.

It won’t happen. Disney today are only interested in how woke they can be. They have destroyed the Marvel franchise and will ultimately do the same to Star Wars.

Firstly, I believe I have earned the right to pass judgement on these 'fan films', having been one of many model makers employed by ILM in the mid 1970s, one of George Lucus other companies, and lucky enough to contribute to the first Star Wars film, 'A New Hope' episode IV. There I met Colin Cantwell and Lorn Peterson chief model maker. Later, I built models for 'The Empire Strikes Back' episode V and 'Return of the Jedi' episode VI, back in the late 1970s and early 80s. A little about me. I was one of many modellers building verious types of ships used in the making of the first trilogy of Star Wars. Models such as the X-Wing and TIE fighters, of which there were many as they kept geting destroyed. Other ships used in all 3 films. The Millennium Falcon, Airspeeder, Imperial Shuttles, Imperial Battleships, Battle Cruisers, A-Wing shuttles, and my favourite, the AT-AT of which many were destroyed. As for the Speeder Bikes first seen in Return of the Jedi, they were not built by ILM but they were added later to the film in the special edition version in 1997 i think. They were designed by a man called Ralph MacQuarrie, who worked with Colin and i think were built by a guy called Nilo Rodis. Obviously, like everything these days, screens were used to superimpose the actors and props to give the impression the speeders were travelling at phenomenal pace. I bet you didn't know this. To get that look, a camera guy used a steadycam set to record in slow motion then slowely and gently walked through a forest in California. Then, when the video was played back at a faster speed, with the speedster and actors sat on it, it appeared as though everything was going like a rocket. I was also told that Nilo Rodis built a speedster around a scooter then it was driven through the streets of L.A. to see how the public noticed it, if at all. There were so many other types of ships and vehicles that were built and used in just one scene, blown up never to be seen again or they were never used or seen in the films. Like the Nebulon B class ship which I think was a escort or frigate ship which had many uses but only seen in a few clips, yet it took many, many hours to build. As did most of the ships. People who do not indulge in model making have no concept of how many hours go into making one X-Wing or a Battle Cruiser, no matter the size, it takes hours, a lot of hours. We each helped build all the spacecrafts and vehicles, but I really wish I could say I helped build the 'Executor', better known as Darth Vaders ship or the 'Death Star', but alas, I did not work on them. Nor did I work on the Millennium Falcon or the Speeder Bikes. Yes, the Speeders are models, too only much more life-sized. I got to meet the man himself, Mr George Lucus when he, Ralph MacQuarrie, and Colin Cantwell, the designers of the spacecrafts and vehicles, came to visit us as they did occasionally. Mr Lucas, a lovely and generous man who allowed me to keep some of the models I made or help make after Return of the Jedi was finished. I got to meet all of the main actors on more than one occasion at our workshops or at workshop meetings, dinners, and other special occasions, not the Red carpet ones. Carry Fisher, she was a lovely pretty kind girl. We spoke several times when she came to see how we put together the space battle scenes. We were about the same age and she, being quite attractive, it's fair to say, I had the hots for her, but Harrison Ford, umm, he beat me to it, lucky man. Not that I had any chance anyway. Harrison, he was a very funny man. We told each other jokes because I made the mistske one day of telling a joke to one of the guys I was working with while Harrison was stood directly behind me. He finished my joke with the punch line. The next time we met, he told me a joke. Then after that it was my turn and thats how it came about. He showed interest in the work we did. Was he truly interested or just pretending, to make us feel good. After all, he is an actor. Who knows. Never the less, a nice talkative man. Mark Hamill on the other hand, now we got on really well together, like a house on fire and got into trouble several times. We were about the same age. Liked the same things. We both liked to drink beer. Both interested in the universe and weather or not others were out there. We even liked the same movies. He liked what we did with bits of plastic taken from other model kits such as Airfix, to then invent something totally different. Showing great interest in how we came up with the ideas I then felt bad telling him they were not mine. Sadly, most of what we did was building from pictures and drawings the artists or designers gave us. After a model was finished, it was sent over to the powers that be to see if it was what was wanted. Sometimes, the models were retired to yhe bin or they came back with an advice note on alterations they wanted made. Then, the whole process started over but we did have a little artistic freedom when building the 'not so well known' ships. Ships that appeared in the big battles, like tiney spots flickering in the distance. No, that was not our ships but fairylights from a Christmas tree. He would spend hours watching, even helping us make small parts that would later form part of a larger model. He helped build TIE fighters and parts used to build the X-wings. He helped make many parts for many types of ships. It is also my opinion that, although Disney have put out some great films and TV series, they have not got the, how can I put it. They have not got the X factor or the essance that Lucas films has. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy all the official Star Wars stuff. It's good, but I just wish George had not sold his dream because that's exactly what it was. He had dreams growing up and then turned his dreams into reality. Selling to Disney was a big mistake because that day, he sold his soul. I have, over the years, subscribed to and watched. I believe every fan film made, and some are, in my opinion, seriously good enough to bear the Star Wars logo and opening title music. However, this film is not one of them. No matter what languages are spoken, you can't get away from the fact that the dialogue is poor, diddery and amateurish. The acting, what can I say. I've never seen such bad scting in all my life, in film or on stage. Wait, yes, I have seen it. On the multitude of bad, low-budget American movies made just for the DVD market. Made just to make a quick buck! Even the SFX in this short film is comical. I mean, I laughed so much it reminded me of the low-budget TV series we watched as kids during the 1970s and 80s. The only thing missing were the pupet like strings supporting the ships and the background moving as a stage hand knocked it on his way to the canteen. Or the sound of a mobile phone or the alarm on a wristwatch going off. Those were the days. Marks out of 10 for this film. I would give it 4/10, and that's being generous.🫣🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I have the original soundtrack on vinyl and the first three comics. Been a fan since I saw the original movie in 1977 at the age of twelve. Great project.

These Fan Films are showing me just how far the franchise has fallen. Imagine these characters and emotions with the near-unlimited budget of Disney. Brilliant stuff, everyone involved should be proud

They will explain a lot about what is going on right now! These books will cover the "Wars" about to come, the catching up / the blessed hope, World judgement, hence the Tribulation and the Great Tribulation! These books will also be the most ominous and scary for the unbelievers and the most exciting and uplifting for those who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!... It is my hope and prayer that people would repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ before all these things take place, because it is going to be very, very scary if you do not and you decide to wait and see what happens. + May the Lord encourage you to seek the truth, in Jesus' name. Amen and Amen. + (John 14:6 > Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.) + All glory be to the Lord our God. Amen!
